Big Chill, one of the coolest houses on Cape San Blas, is now available for rent. It is the perfect large group hangout, accommodating 20 people quite comfortably. You’ll never need to leave the house with all of the fun activities available. However, it is located very close to Happy Ours for kayak excursions and Salinas Park for horseback riding on the beach. The home is simply gigantic and it comes complete with a private gaming swimming pool, shallow on both sides and deep in the center, multiple grills, a game room with a ping pong table and air hockey table, bar height Poker table, and an indoor tiki bar. There are spacious, furnished decks on both levels in the front and in the back, so not only is there ample room indoors you can also take the party outside. With a comfortable living space on both the main level and the 2nd level, the kids can watch cartoons while the adults are enjoying Monday Night Football. This home has been professionally decorated and you will find everything you need for a relaxing vacation. With a ton of parking, you’ll find room for multiple vehicles and/or boats. Words can simply not explain how awesome this home is. It is truly a one-of-a-kind and definitely a must see.

Floor Plan: Ground level – Game Room with ping pong table and foosball table; Bedroom 1 – private bedroom with double bed; Bedroom 2 - private bedroom with double bed. 1st level – 3 separate dining areas, tiki bar, large kitchen with multiple blenders and coffee makers and full size laundry room with second fridge, ½ bath, living room with 2 sectional couches, an enormous TV and DVD player; and Bedroom 3 - king bed, TV, full bath and entrance onto a nicely furnished deck overlooking the pool. 2nd level – an additional living room with flat screen TV, DVD player and a spiral staircase that leads to the top floor cupola; Bedroom 4 – king bed, balcony and a full bath that connects to living room; Bedroom 5 – 2 queen beds, walk-in closet and a bay view deck; Bedroom 6 – 2 queen beds, flat screen TV, walk-in closet, bay view deck and a full bath that connects to Bedroom 7; Bedroom 7 – kids’ room with 2 twin bunk sets and 1 day bed with trundle. 3rd level – top floor cupola with open decks on either side.

We had a group stay over Thanksgiving and the property worked out great. We were all comfortable with the bedrooms and enjoyed the easy access to the beach.
The description of the place is very accurate, my only two suggestions would be to stock the house with more essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, etc… (this is clearly communicated by the property, just a little inconvenient) and the grill listed in the description is a bit rusty and empty of gas.
Besides those nitpicks, we all had a great time and would recommend if looking to stay in Cape San Blas!

The house is well designed. The rooms were good sized, and the amount of light in the house is incredible. The kitchen is large and well stocked. Two refrigerators made life very easy for 13 guests.
The porches and balconies were fabulous. We spent a lot of time on them getting fresh air and visiting with family.
The pool was a lifesaver for the days we weren’t able to go to the beach.
The downside was that the elevator did not work when we arrived, but the property company was responsive to our needs.
Overall we had a great trip.

Beautiful home with plenty of room and a great small town feel! The back porch and pool area are perfect for family being able to spend time together, even when some want to swim and others don’t. Perfect for a large crowd!

The house is a great house. Spacious and roomy. There needs to be more utensils and the hot water heaters needs to be updated or changed. A lot of cold showers were taken. Maintenance had to be called due to fuses tripping while trying to cook. Overall a great vacation and a great house.

This property sits on Cape San Blas Rd and is part of the Piney Woods Subdivision. The beach access for this subdivision is shared and a 5-7 minute walk from the property down Sandpiper Dr or a quick 30 second car ride. For reference please look at the map of the property.

We enjoyed our stay at Big Chill! The house was clean and a great size/location to get to the beach easily. The hosts were responsive and came out within less than an hour to help us with one issue that came up. Fantastic response! We would definitely stay here again.

The big chill was beautiful and spacious for our large family. Loved the fact that it had a great sized pool and enough space for everyone to have their own area to relax. Few minor set backs as we were trying to be understanding of the hurricane repairs and updates that are still in progress. The pool area was trashed when we arrived but finally after 4 days someone came and cleaned the pool and picked up around the area. The backsplash (plastic sticker pieces) was falling down and basically touching the stove which caused us a little trouble while cooking. Notated multiple times to assure the maintenance orders were accounted for so we are hopeful they will address them soon. Overall we still enjoyed the home and the location was spectacular for the price point!

Very spacious!

The home was very spacious and well laid out to accommodate our large family and dogs. Love the fact there was a pool and the kids were able to utilize it often after I called daily to have it cleaned and filled. There are still some updates going on throughout the home and some minor issues that contain safety hazzards (called but in due time hope they get fixed). The location was great and perfectly in the middle of everything. We hope to visit again in the future but also hope to continue to see the improvements happen that were promised.

Big Chill.

We had two families, 13 people total. We enjoyed our staying, house is perfect plenty of room for all of us, privacy is excellent, even late at night you can still enjoy the pool and not bother any neighbors. Pristine staff were very friendly and helpful ( Thank you guys !!! ) WiFi signal not so good, house in some areas look like is still under construction or remodeling. But overall i will definitely will come back to this beautiful house. We had a wonderful time here!

Great getaway for a large group!!

The house was HUGE! The air hockey table is no longer there, but they have added 2 additional bathrooms on the ground floor level! We understand that the area is still recovering from the hurricane, so we understand the construction materials in the house, but made it feel a little off.
