Had some issues with internet but overall a great stay!- Posted: 4/9/2023
My family and I loved this property!!! Hands down one of the best Thanksgiving destinations that we have called home. This would be 5 stars all the way around and I would reserve my time frame year after year if the property featured 2 things: 1. A queen or king bed needs to be in one if not all of the bedrooms. Plenty of room and no need for two rooms with Double beds. 2. A fire pit would be so awesome on that property. It has the room and should be utilized. 3. Hoses should be available on ever spicket. 4. Kayaks! Kayaks! Kayaks!!! I spent an extra for kayak rentals at this property. Raise your rates and include this amenity.- Posted: 11/27/2022
We're so glad to hear you enjoyed Thanksgiving at Camp Palms. We'll certainly share your suggestions with the property owners. We hope to see you again soon!Visit Florida Beaches Dev (Shared Code) staffPosted: 12/4/2022
We spent our honeymoon last week at Camp Palms and it couldn’t have been any more magical! The house itself sits on beautiful Indian lagoon…the fireflies in the marshes under the pier at dusk and the stars above at night were brilliant. Easy beach access was right across the street. If you want a private retreat that feels worlds away, you won’t regret your stay at Camp Palms.- Posted: 10/26/2022
It was a great location and everything was so beautiful!- Posted: 10/17/2022
This property was a great value with good access to bot the lagoon and gulf. It was nicely appointed and we had a great stay.- Posted: 8/6/2022
This house is so comfortable for us and being able to use a hike cart on the beach is perfect.

Absolutely breath taking views of the lagoon. Beautiful home laid out extremely well. Felt like we were miles from anyone. The dock was perfect for fishing or reading. Really enjoyed our time.

Great place to stay for our family of 5. Especially since the kiddos love fishing.

A rare find and probably the best of all our numerous Florida stays! Definitely for nature lovers seeking clean beaches and seclusion. We felt constantly in touch with the nature even when inside the house - the kitchen, living room and patio overlook the bay; you can hear the ocean from the bedrooms.
If you like to cook as opposed to go out, do shopping before you get to the area, as it offers some basic convenience store items.
We couldn’t use the kayaks we rented because the side of the dock used for boats was damaged and taped with yellow danger tape.- Posted: 12/30/2021
Very enjoyable stay! Everything as advertised.- Posted: 11/20/2021
nice and quiet! mattresses could use and upgrade but otherwise very comfortable- Posted: 9/4/2021
Overall we had a pleasant stay, the beds and furniture could stand a decent update/upgrade but other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The place was way better than the pictures!! We will be back again this fall.

House is in a great spot on Indian Pass, the view of the Lagoon was awesome! The walk to the beach was very short, and easily manageable with our stuff. House is well appointed and was clean on our arrival. I was very impressed with the management company Pristine Properties, kept us up to date and very responsive to the one problem we had. Don’t miss out on Indian Pass Raw Bar, worth the wait! Cons: - the beds were very uncomfortable - the front door lock, please change that thing out! Spent way too much time getting in and out - not dog friendly- I realize some may view this as a positive Overall I felt it was a great place and worth the price we paid- Posted: 6/21/2021
Super QUIET! Very comfy house with great view of the Lagoon. 2 min walk over to the mostly private beach. Will definitely book here again- Posted: 6/7/2021
I will love renting this home because it is very comfortable for my husband but it is awful to be forced to rent beach gear I do not need.

Very happy to hear you enjoyed the property and would like to make it clear there is no requirement to get Beach Gear. The credit provided is there to use at your own free will.

Giving 3 stars because of the items below, everything else was good. 1. Due to construction on the house in front in the driveway my wife found 3 pretty big nails I think they where 16d nails or something similar. Concern with this is any of my kids or our vehicle could have stepped/got nail in tire which would have been a bad situation that could be avoided by running large magnet over construction and driveway. 2. my oldest daughter found a pretty large fish hook, my kids were running barefoot on outside deck where it was found outside porch in front of screened door from the screened in porch. again, if it would have gotten in one of my kids foot, it would have ruined the entire trip. 3. the screened porch was very nice, however, there was layered of dust on rails and screen had stuff on it, it looked like it need a good power washing to feel clean.

We were happy with the house and pristine properties but the bay is not boat friendly except to kayaks at high tide- Posted: 5/9/2021
Great views of the bay and gulf. Small but friendly town. Very relaxing! Make sure to bring your own paper products, trash bags, and dishwashing and laundry detergents. House only came with 1 roll of TP per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 kitchen trash bag, and 1 use of laundry and dishwashing detergent for a week long stay with 4 adults.- Posted: 5/2/2021
We loved the property and it met our expectations. We would choose beach front next time. We didn’t realize how much we would miss beach front until it rained.

Poorly maintained property, multiple maintenance issues during our stay, broken drawers in refrigerator, oven, broken TV, burned out light bulbs, broken bathroom fan, broken tub fixture, kitchen sink fell from countertop. One saving grace was that Pristine Properties maintenance team was prompt in coming to try to address issues, but some could not be resolved just because of run down nature of property. Such a shame because the location is great, with dock on the lagoon and across the street of easy beach access. It's also great for handicap accessibility with no stairs, all wide doors and curbless shower

Cape San Blas was amazing. Looking forward to visiting the area again. House was exactly as advertised. Extremely comfortable.

relaxing, refreshing, great views, open spaces, great place to heal your tired mind and body - and, the owner was super sweet !!

Nice house, but needs some attention. Great location and nice neighborhood.

This house is in a great location. Just a few steps to the lagoon for fishing and down the drieway and across the road to trail for beach. We took our golf cart and enjoyed beach riding, fishing and just watching the beautiful sunsets. A permit to drive on the beach is required by Gulf County. We did ours through the mail and it is good for one year. We havent been to Indian Pass in five years and was happy to see a General Store at the entryway. Much more convenient for quick item pickups. The house is decorated nicely, but could use an update with the mattress in master bedroom. After cleanning the screened in porchand the furniture , we enjoyed most of our meals there. It is private with palm trees on both sides. Enjoyed watching squirrels playing, two Eagles flying about, many woodpeckers and monarch butterflies everywhere. A couple of times porpoise could be seen on the lagoon. This is a nice place to stay, but like I mentioned before needs some updates including new pots and a tea pot would be nice for enjoying an afternoon tea on that wonderful porch. If not for the spiders and two different swarms of termites inside, I would have given this a five star. So someone please give this cute little cottage the TLC is deserves.- Posted: 11/9/2020
Great peaceful location. General store less than mile away .- Posted: 8/19/2020
The location of the house was great. I had submitted a ticket during the week about the severe ant situation. We had to store all dry goods in the refrigerator because the ants would cover everything within minutes. They’d even crawl around an empty clean sink. This made cooking quite disgusting since they were everywhere.

We're glad to hear you enjoyed the house and we agree the location is great. I'm sorry to hear about the ant problem and we will gladly follow up on that with the Pest Control Company that services our properties.

We absolutely LOVED our stay. We had never been to this area and loved how few people were around. Fresh seafood available close by and we cooked every night. The dock was beautiful and sunrises and sunsets from the dock were gorgeous. Back screen porch is very roomy, bug free, and we ate dinner out there every night. It was one of our favorite aspects of the house. Path to the beach is a bit overgrown but it's there directly across from the driveway. A few things I wish I'd known before arriving -- Lagoon is great for fishing and kayaking (definitely not swimming). The beach was not crowded at all, covered in large shells. The water is murkier than the other gulf beaches I've been to, but still fun for swimming and fishing. There is a sofa bed in the living room. No microwave. Bring lots of bug spray and some of fogger spray for the around the door and path to the lagoon. Overall it was an AMAZING trip. We loved it!!

We had a fabulous time. The listing was very accurate. Beach by morning and fishing off the dock by afternoon. Thank you Pristine Properties for being so easy to work with and making sure we had a great trip.- Posted: 6/12/2020
We have been visiting Indian Pass for 16 years. The house we rented this year was the best! It was nicely furnished, no stairs that made getting in supplies very easy, and was very comfortable. It is in a very quiet location and we enjoyed the gazebo on the bay and a very short walk across the street to a very quiet section of the beach. We hope to stay in this house again next year.- Posted: 6/4/2018
