Description
Indian Pass is not just a destination in the northern panhandle of Florida; it’s a way of life. Just ask some of the locals or the many visitors who make this small coastal town tucked between Cape San Blas and Apalachicola their exclusive vacation spot. In no time, you’ll discover it’s a whole vibe. Unique from most Florida beaches, you will not find go-cart tracks or putt-putt golf courses; no airbrush T-shirt shops or swanky dining options with large crowds and a dress code. What makes Indian Pass special is the uncrowded, wildly natural beach and the laid-back atmosphere that embraces you like a warm breeze. You must try the Indian Pass Raw Bar, a local seafood restaurant serving fresh oysters caught daily and shucked right at the bar with coolers of beer, wine and soda served on the honor system.
Outdoor and water activities are endless, and there is something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Indian Pass is best known for its fishing, but it’s also a fantastic place to go crabbing, shelling, or bird-watching. Wildlife abounds. Take a ferry from the boat ramp to St. Vincent Island for a chance to spot an endangered species like a loggerhead turtle, gopher tortoise, or even a red wolf. On most days, it's common to witness an eagle soaring overhead with its daily catch in tow, or a pod of dolphins putting on a show. Eagle’s Rest gets its name from the knobby trees outside the loft’s window, where eagles are perched, resting on top.
This cool, stylish beach rental is a vacation dream, including a private fenced backyard with a fire pit, enclosed outdoor shower, smoker, and even a treehouse. When dinnertime is the best time, you’ll appreciate the custom-built diner-style dining table on the main level just off the kitchen, where you can mix food, conversation, and a great TV show. Just beyond the dining area is a covered gulf view deck. On the top floor is a small living area loft with a queen futon, a large TV, an Xbox, and a collection of games.

We really enjoyed our stay. I just hope the host clean up the outer area for future guest! The inside was impeccably clean. Although we didn’t have extra paper towels, toilet paper or trash bags. Also the guest portal said trash picked up on Saturday. We ended up having to put trash in someone else’s can! All in all we would stay again. The beach area is AMAZING.- Posted: 6/25/2023

My wife and kids spent 5 nights here in April 2023. This house is absolutely stunning. All of the pictures are accurate and it was very clean with fresh linens provided throughout. You can tell the kitchen was newly renovated and it was fully stocked. We loved cooking dinners and hanging out at the big table after long days at the beach. The upstairs loft has a huge TV and the guitar hero game was a hit with everyone. The entire area/neighborhood is super peaceful and quiet, there was barely anyone on the beach while we were there. There’s an easy beach access point in the neighborhood so that made going back and forth pretty convenient. The backyard is huge and private too with a large fence. We hung out back there at night and used the firepit to make s’mores. We enjoyed it so much that we already booked another week for later this year.- Posted: 4/8/2023

Pristine Properties was great to work with. Had some trouble getting in due to a lock being engaged that wasn't part of the coded lock, but they sent someone right over to get us in. Really, the only downfalls were the construction going on at the house next door, and that it's listed as having a fenced yard. That was the reason for choosing this listing, as we brought our dog. It's mostly fenced, but no way to close it off completely. It is a great house in a beautiful location, and we will definitely be visiting Indian Pass again, fell in love with the area for sure!- Posted: 3/26/2023

We liked the house itself. But outside needs work, and grass growing through the boardwalk sticks in your legs.- Posted: 7/24/2022
