Description

Located on the North section of Cape San Blas, just after the Rock Wall (Stump Hole), sits this huge 5-bedroom Beachfront house with its own private pool. A shared boardwalk with the house next door, gives you easy access to the white sandy beach just beyond the gulf front pool. In this location of the peninsula, you’ve got the gulf outside of your back door and the bay across the street from the front side of the house. Views of both can be seen from most places inside of the house.

Three of the five bedrooms are gulf front and all five have their own full baths. There is a main living area with an open layout with living room, dining and kitchen as well as a separate den on the first floor. With a large crowd, sometimes it can be helpful to have other spaces to separate. Decks are on each the levels, some covered and others open for sunbathing. There are also decks on both sides of the house so you have wonderful views of the beach and the bay as well as sunrise and sunset.

Cape San Blas is ideal for taking a step back from the hurried pace of everyday life and Five on the Beach is a great place for your large group to rest and unwind together.

Floor plan: ground level – covered paved parking and gulf front private pool. 1st level – Bedroom 1 – 2 duo bunk beds, TV and full bath with shower/tub combo; gulf front sitting area with deck access and TV; Bedroom 2 – gulf front bedroom with queen bed, TV, deck access and full bath with shower only; and laundry room. 2nd level – kitchen, dining area, living room with a gulf front deck, queen sleeper sofa, TV and ½ bath; and Bedroom 3 – gulf front bedroom with king bed, TV, deck access and full bath with shower only. 3rd level – Bedroom 4 – bayview bedroom with queen bed and full bath with shower only; and Bedroom 5 – gulf front bedroom with king bed, TV, large walk-in closet, deck access and full bath with jetted tub and separate shower.

The location is excellent, only a few feet from the beach. It is perfect for our needs as a family.

Great spot on the beach! Nice house with good layout. Cons: Small TV upstairs BR was not connected to cable and was only for a DVD player. All of the TV's in the house were cumbersome to operate and did not have major network channels. The TV's would often disconnect and have network connection issues. This alone would probably make us pick a different house next time. The mattress in lower level bedroom was too firm.

Incredible privacy, beautiful views, nice place with some disappointment. The kitchen was unequipped: coffee maker leaked intermittently. No can opener.

Excellent location! The beach is so close! It’s literally in your back yard which means you don’t have to do massive packing for the day. It’s easy to hop back to the house for lunch, the bathroom, etc. We set up our stuff and left it there through the whole day. You could stand on the balcony and holler to a friend on the beach “hey need a beer!?” and they’d hear you. So great. It’s basically a private beach. Beds were comfy and it had lots of space for 4 families with kids. House shows wear and tear but no issues. Would stay again.

Great location, great house and incredibly easy management firm to deal with. Everything was electronic, as promised and efficient. The house itself is amazing and perfect for a large family.

Our Stay

This was a wonderful house for our family. We had four children and one baby, seven adults. Loved the open kitchen, dining and living room. The pool was great and a short walk on the boardwalk to the beach.

Five on the Beach was excellent choice for our family of 14 (9 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 children). Having the beach 35 to 40 steps away was great. The location of the house with it’s easy access to the beach is a wonderful place. Next time we vacation in Cape San Blas will definitely try to rent this house.

The Cape where things slow down

It was effortless from check in to check out. We especially like being right on the beach and everyone had a room with oceanfront balconies. Also we cant seem to get together for 7 days so it was nice for this property to have 3 nights available.

We had a wonderful stay at 5 on the Beach. The bedroom layout was perfect for us, & allowed privacy and each person their own bathroom. The elevator was a lifesaver for hauling stuff in and out. The only thing missing for us would be pool heat, but we still enjoyed it.

I have been coming to the Cape for more than 25 years and have rented numerous beachfront homes during that period of time. Five on the Beach is a very spacious 5 bedroom home with private pool and elevator. Well laid out with plenty of room to congregate together or be alone for "quiet time" just to relax. Layout is exactly the same as Villa del Sol next door where we have also stayed several times. Suzanne in reservations is great and Pristine Properties is always responsive to any questions or maintenance issues we might have. Will definitely continue to rent exclusively from Pristine.

Everything was ok except for the wind. Put a real damper on our vacation. This absolutely is NO reflection on the house or service from you guys of course, just was a bummer as we pretty much couldn't do much (fish, kayak, bike ride, use umbrella/canopy's at beach).

A Wonderful Family Get Together on the Beach!

My family (6) and my brother and his wife joined us for a family getaway to the day after Thanksgiving to one of our very favorite beach towns - Cape San Blas. We rented "Five on the Beach" and from top to bottom the house was very clean, well maintained, nicely furnished and had plenty of room for us to spread out and enjoy the a nice vacation with one another. The location is one of the best on the is in my opinion, on the beach, near the rocks and stump hole for fishing, across from a nature preserve with walking paths and access to the bay. We all had a great time, Five on the Beach is a great home to rent for family gatherings.

The photos do not do this property justice! It is more spacious than it looks, plenty adequate even for the Diva in your group! We absolutely loved the cleanliness and location. It is ON the beach, which is exactly what I wanted. We are already planning next year's stay.
