Placed perfectly so as not to be too close to your neighbors and with no houses behind it this property has plenty of seclusion along the already secluded beaches of Indian Pass. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the space you have in this very open floor plan that boasts over 3000 square feet.

Have a true large family get together all seated at the extra long dining room table that seats 14. Stay connected the old fashion way through conversation whether in the kitchen, living, or dining area as the entire first floor is completely open. Sit out on the open gulf front deck watching the sunset or dolphins in the water and later move to the adjacent screen porch for evening drinks or to unwind out of the sun. Retire upstairs to the bedroom level to relax with a book or take a great afternoon nap. No matter where you spend you time at this house you're sure to have a great time at Hatchling Hideaway.

Kids really loved it... esp easy walk to the beach and their bunk beads.. kitchen was so spacious and also the dining area... everything was perfect including weather.

The top floor decks was inaccessible. Lots of maintenance issues involving the dryer, dishwasher and upstairs ac were an inconvenience. They did not make the trip unenjoyable. We still had a great time. This house has 4 full bathrooms which was a great plus. The houses are very close together in this area which is not what we are used to at Indian Pass but judging by all the new houses being built, it is becoming the norm. Overall the house was nice, maintenance just needs to take care of a few issues.

Our Stay

We had the easy beach access we wanted with a comfortable place to eat and sleep. The home had a beachy-Boho vibe about it. Although all the homes appeared to be rented we had plenty of room on the beach. Loved the area and town.

Very private beach front location. 12 can sleep comfortably. Excellent service when maintenance issues arise. In our case 100 degree day and the AC failed upstairs. Repairs were made the next morning. Tuff night upstairs but I was impressed with the response by the Rental company. The property is worth the $9000+ a week in the peak season. Well done to those involved in my choice of a family vacation. Thank you again.

This property is great for large families with children. The kids loved the bunkbed room and being able to run out to the beach whenever they wanted was a plus. The entire family had a great very relaxing time.

On the beach

Beautiful home. Will try this one again in the summer The bad: all the bedrooms.on the right side had NO HEAT. It was very cold and we had to buy firewood for heat. The right front door would not stay shut due to high winds. We left a day early.

Perfect Time Away

A rare find. Large well-maintained ocean Front home with a well-spaced house on one side and several empty lots on the other. We enjoyed the Port Saint Joe area and Apalachicola after long, quiet walks on the beach each day. Awesome place to get away. We enjoyed it.

Gulf side Gem is a good home but needs updates! The beds were the worst part and spraying for bugs is a must. Updated living room furniture would be nice.

Please note that the interior of our properties are serviced monthly by a professional pest control company. Bugs present on the exterior of the property, especially flying bugs, are not something they service or we have great success in exterminating.

If anything, the furnishings are outdated but I loved the layout and the beach access. We were 3 friends and it was nice to each have our own room and bathroom and even our own deck.

GREAT TIME!!!!

We've been coming to this area for 15yrs. and just love it! We were pretty shocked at what Hurricane Michael did to our special place, but love that everyone is working hard to get it back together. Our place was great and had everything we needed or wanted. We understood the repairs that were being done while we were there. Didn't let it bother us at all. Beach all day, deck all night! Love the new boardwalk! A little sad that the dunes got washed away, but know that they will come back. We look forward to coming back in October only this time hoping no hurricane cuts our trip short like last year. See you in the Fall!!!

The screened in porch is lovely but with an open stairwell we still had some bugs! The house is very roomy and comfortable. All of the stairs were tiresome after a short time. The kitchen was not prepared for a large family as far as pots, pans and skillets. I would recommend this home for a great vacation.

Our family celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary at Hatchling Hideaway. It was a perfect location for three generations to spend time together and enjoy the beach. The house was large enough for 11, and the 4.5 bathrooms were much appreciated. The beach is right outside the house, and we were able to allow the 5 children (ages 4-9) quite a bit of freedom in the spacious house and along the uncrowded, natural beach. We had a wonderful visit and would recommend this house for gatherings of families and friends.

I absolutely LOVED the layout of this house. With a couple different families all staying it made communication with the little ones very easy. i really liked that the adults could be playing cards at the table while in ear shot of the kids. The walking distance to the beach was amazing and the house was super clean.

We really appreciated their friendliness, extra accommodations in laying out the key for us after hours, maintenance coming over to check on details, and then allowing us to stay an extra two hours at late checkout… we recommend Pristine highly and God bless your stay in the beautiful Cape San Blas area
