Would stay again. It’s a nice place and price was pretty good for location- Posted: 8/27/2022
Very comfortable home, very clean , furnished nicely. Location is great.- Posted: 8/15/2022
Can’t put into words just how beautiful and amazing this place was. The pictures don’t do it justice. The decor and appliances of the home were very updated and couch and beds were so comfortable. It had wonderful access to the beach and a great view to the beach from the upper balcony. My family really enjoyed eating dinner on the front porch on a table that seats six. The chairs/umbrella rentals were well worth the money. Shipwreck restaurant had the most delicious food for breakfast and dinner. The marina had great options for shirts and other clothing. Shell shack is an outstanding place for local/fresh seafood as well. We will definitely be booking a week next summer!- Posted: 7/23/2022
Great place, very homey and comfortable. Love the 2 decks with a view of the ocean. Overall experience was extremely positive!!

Adorable little home with beautiful views and easy beach access. The pictures are outdated. This home has been redone and is wonderful!! Love the 2 decks in the morning and evening, too hot for the afternoon. All the amenities, clean and well stocked. It is in a great location and the beach is not as crowded as some areas. Will definitely return. The beach gear credit was a definite win!!- Posted: 6/12/2022
Beautiful property very clean with nice new comfortable furniture. Great location right across the street from the beach. You can see the ocean for the upper porch off the master bedroom. My husband and I rented for our 1 year anniversary. We will definitely be returning to this gorgeous little beach house again next year!! Highly recommend- Posted: 6/4/2022
It was wonderful!!!!!

We had an excellent stay at Oleander Place. The property was exceptionally clean and well equipped. We read previous reviews and knew to bring hand soap, extra paper towels, trash bags, coffee filters, etc. The voucher for beach rentals turned out to be a game changer for beaching with a one year old. Checkout was 9am central time. I would definitely consider booking this property again!- Posted: 5/11/2022
This is a great beach house. It is easy check in and the house had everything we needed. The beach access is a short walk out the front door. The house is new and well maintained. We will definitely look to stay again.- Posted: 4/29/2022
Great place, very cute furnishings. We loved the location and privacy.

Narrow Escape was a great home for 2 people. We have been searching for a good place within decent proximity to the beach for the 2 of us and our dogs for quite some time! The mattress could use a replacement as it was quite uncomfortable. Beyond this it was perfectly located, had everything that we needed and was so cute!

Stayed here twice and enjoyed it both times. Cute house in a good location. Not beachfront but pretty close! Nice upstairs deck that we very much enjoyed. Only downside is mattresses in bedrooms are a little soft for me.

This property was fantastic to say the least! I was most impressed by how impeccably clean it was. The owners did not cut any corners with amenities and furniture. My only complaint is that there is a condo being built in front of the house so the beach view is now limited to only the left side.- Posted: 11/11/2021
The property was excellent! Very close proximity to the beach. Enjoyed several meals on the front porch and enjoyed the ocean view. All the utensils you can think of in the kitchen. We really enjoyed the garage and the ease of being able to store beach items there and not have to take them up and down stairs. Very laid back environment.- Posted: 11/7/2021
Great property with views and sounds of the ocean from front porch.- Posted: 10/5/2021
Clean and well arranged home that was perfect for our Labor Day beach gateway!- Posted: 9/21/2021
The home was beautiful. It was very nice and really clean. Well stocked with everything. Killer Seafood was a great little surprise. Wonderful fried shrimp.- Posted: 9/8/2021
The home needs some outdoor maintenance. Bushes and weeds are overgrown. There is no way to get to the first level (storage and washer/dryer) without walking through sand. It needs pavers or a walk way. It is a tight fit inside but your at the beach so you are not in the house that much. I would say no more than 4 adults or a young family of 5.

This property is on a regular schedule to have the outside yard maintained but during the summer, especially when it frequently rains, things can get off schedule. Thank you for your feedback and we like the idea of a better walking path.

It was perfect for our needs.

When we arrived the house was extremely clean and well stocked! All the furniture was very comfortable as well as all the beds. We actually had two families stay until the house and had plenty of room. It was a very easy walk to the beach and we spent a lot of time on both decks and loved drinking our coffee in the morning with that incredible view! The garage was very functional and made parking easier. We used to come to Mexico beach frequently until Micheal and I am so happy to see the place we love on the rise!! Thanks for our stay we loved it!!- Posted: 6/27/2021
Great place with lots of light, decent space, and clean furnishings, but is clearly heavily used and is showing its wear.

Our stay was great. Easy access to beach. House offered great amenities. Thank you- Posted: 6/9/2021
Book this place right away. Perfect for our family of 5. They have everything you need. We really loved being across the street from the beach and both of the porches. The table and chairs were perfect for dinners outside and the perk of having all of our beach gear ready for us was the best! We will definitely be back!- Posted: 5/22/2021
This was an absolutely lovely stay!
First off.. I am so pleased to share how clean and well cared for this home was.
Cleanliness is so important to me and they totally one-upped other airbnb's. The comfort of the home was truly amazing. They thought of the details and made it so special. It was easy to see the owners have such integrity and are great people.
Beach is literally across the street with the view of the ocean.
Note: No hand/dish soaps, paper towels, common first arrival things were not provided.
One thing that we quickly realized is that Mexico Beach doesn’t have nice restaurants. But they do have walk up food ordering. No shopping either. Also to note the grocery store is something called a Piggly Wiggly which was like 20 min out. It's a small town and a little gem. We actually loved it being so! The neighbors are locals and my kids playedwith theirs. They were seriously wonderful.
Pristine Properties manages the home so you will sign into their communication portal and take it from there. They were also great and made it a breeze.
Lastly a definite bonus was VayK Gear. They contacted us after booking and offered us a great deal on Beach gear, kayaks etc..
They delivered it and picked it up. What a treat.
All this to say.. the home and beach were incredible! Happy family right here!- Posted: 5/6/2021
What a lovely place to stay!! First off, you’re literally across the street from the ocean. You can open the front door and listen to the waves during the quiet of the evening. Secondly, there is a fantastic food truck in the front yard (open Wed-Sun I believe). There are several beautiful parks around (Veterans park and Oak Tree park in Parker), the quaint town of Port St Joe (go to Shoobies for ice cream!), the Cape San Blas peninsula to explore - all close by. The location is fantastic. Dollar store is close by for groceries; seafood is abundant, just hop on Yelp and find a place. The house though— wow. I don’t know if I’ve stayed at an Airbnb with more intentional design of having guests in mind. There were so many little touches around the home to make it feel like you were staying in your own home rather than a hotel or guest suite. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking meals, there is a garage for parking which was lovely, a shower outside for washing off sand, fans on the front porch (which are tethered when not in use so they don’t just spin and make noise - see, they’ve thought of everything). A picnic table on the front porch, chairs on the top balcony so you can watch the sunset. Large, comfy couch to relax on after a day at the beach. Soft carpeting. Everything new and clean. Tasteful beach decor that didn’t seem too hotel neutral or too personalized. I loved the shell memory box, where you can drop in a shell and tell your story - what a sentimental touch. There are photos on the staircase to the garage showcasing the home before and after the hurricane that devastated the area a few years back. The community has shown great resilience and is rebuilding. It’s a great location to visit for some respite, and what a great way to support a community in need of regaining the tourism they’ve lost! And you MUST go to community coffee and get the cinnamon roll. You can thank me later.- Posted: 3/13/2021
Oleander place was a cute, clean getaway across the street from the beach. Kitchen had all the necessary supplies to cook, beds were comfortable, and wifi was adequate to support two adults working remotely.- Posted: 1/4/2021
House was super clean and very nice. So close to the beach and several places to eat. FYI. The house has no beach gear.- Posted: 10/25/2020
The pictures are super outdated but the home is updated inside. There was an odor in the kitchen that was nauseating (my mom says it smells like someone cooked liver and onions before us). The beds were really comfortable. The keypad on the lock needs to get fixed. Overall it was a really great location and stay.

Good facility in a good location. Easy access to beach and groceries.

Much better than expected. I really appreciate that the air conditioning was running on arrival. It can take hours to get a place comfortable and I was so relieved that this was considered. Much better than expected!
