Description Description
Pelican Landing 2 is in a Gulf Front building of three townhouses. The property sits on Indian Pass Road and has a very wide, private beach just beyond its steps. Located less than a mile from the Famous Indian Pass Raw Bar and about 2 miles from the Indian Pass Boat Launch, you’ll be tucked in between the only two other places you’ll need on vacation. There’s lots to discover along the natural shoreline of Indian Pass. Surf fishing, crabbing, shelling, boating, watching sunsets, building bonfires or even catching a sunrise. These are favorites of visitors to this quiet step off the beaten path.

This 3 bedroom townhouse is conveniently equipped with a fantastic gulf front patio, grilling area, outdoor shower and the best part; the boardwalk with a deck surrounded by bench seating. Both floors of the property are lined with gulf front decks offering views as far as can be seen. The main floor living level includes a spacious living, dining and kitchen area as well as a full bath and bedroom. The top floor houses the large gulf front master bedroom and a second bedroom suited for kids or singles. Pelican Landing 2 is a great place for anyone searching for some peace and quiet.

The views and location cannot be beat. The decor and amenities overall were on theme, comfortable and great. We loved the layout, space and area. Pictures didn’t do this place justice.

This is a great unit in a great location. The area is quite and peaceful. The unit had beach toys and the additional porch area on the ground level was a great place to play games and have dinner.

No beach access!

- Posted: 5/5/2022

Beach access from the units at Sunrise Sunset has been made more challenging with the beach erosion experienced in this area of Cape San Blas.

The property was perfect and very well maintained. The only issue is that the pictures on the internet suggested there was a beach front ... the property had a retaining wall that waves crashed against so we were really in the water rather than on the water. The beach to the right of the property was limited and barely existed during high tide. We made it work, had a great week, and the townhouse was perfect. Only issue is misrepresentation of beach area.

The beach area in front of the Sunrise Sunset units can be limited based on the time of year, the tides, and recent storm activity.  If you were to try to build these units today they would not be allowed due to the proximity to the water.  This is one of the reasons we mention you can't get any closer to the water than these properties.

Didn’t realize there wasn’t a beach in front of the condo. Lovely still!

The gulf waters were certainly higher due to the recent storm/wind activity and you combine that with these units sittings as far out towards the water as possible and there's not a lot of chance for much beach.  We are glad we had sunny weather during your stay and hope to see you return.

Wonderful beach rental
W enjoyed out month long stay at Pelican Crossing. The home is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the waves hitting the seawall. Getting to the beach was no problem - just walk along side the building. All in all - we had a great vacation! One thing that could be improved. The stairways should have a grippable hand rail. The "fingerhold" railing does not provide much support. It's a safety issue.

Terrific house. Location cannot be beat right on the water and easy access to anything you’d need on the cape. The views are superb. The beach does disappear a bit during high tide but nothing we couldn’t manage as we got plenty of beach time.

Loved being RIGHT on the beach, although (and not your fault) some visitors have zero beach etiquette - i.e. setting their tents right at the bottom of the stairs and playing music so loud you couldn't visit with your own people --- wish there was a noise ordinance or music ban on the beach!

Beautiful and relaxing place right over the water! This was our 2nd time to Pelican Crossing and we will be back.

Need a picnic table to better utilize the veranda area, as the other townhomes have done.

We’ve stayed at Pelican Crossing for the last several years and find it to be our best fit on the cape? We’ve stayed on the northern end but prefer sunrise sunset.

The property itself was wonderful. It was discouraging to see the amount of beach erosion. We had to wait to access the beach until the tide was lower, otherwise there was no beach to sit on.

This unit as well as all the others in Sunrise Sunset sit as close to the water as you can get leaving very little beach on normal days.  That being said with the pending weather from Tropical Storm Claudette probably played a large factor.

First trip to The Cape. Even though we fought Sally the entire trip, we had a nice relaxing trip. The property is nicely decorated...and is absolutely right on the water. Love the decks!

Property was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. I think a laminated tv remote instruction sheet would be nice in each room. Also a direct number for when you check out would be nice. They got some steps built while we were there so we didn't have to climb up and down on the sand dunes. I loved the screened in porch. All in all loved everything. Thanks for letting us rent.

Only negative was low water pressure. Everything else was great. Thanks for a good stay.

Thanks for the feedback and we're glad to know you enjoyed your stay.  The good news is we've got word that the water pressure issue should be addressed in the coming year as the County has announced plans to purchase the water utility on Cape San Blas in an effort to improve things.  We certainly hope so!

We loved the property and will hopefully rent again next year!

Loved the townhome! The location and proximity to the beach was the primary reason for choosing.
