With a little updating of furniture and a good cleaning, this place would be great.

My husband and I had the best time at this property!! We relaxed on the beach, grilled yummy foods, enjoyed being newlyweds, and had a bonfire on the beach!! 10/10 recommend staying here! We will be back :)- Posted: 5/17/2022
The location was great and very peaceful. There were plenty of restaurants just a short distance away- Posted: 4/25/2022
Location was amazing, great views, easy walk to the beach

Though the weather was a bit cooler and more windy than we had hoped, to be expected in mid February of course, the “Road’s End” property made for a wonderful place to take the break we were looking for.- Posted: 3/7/2022
Reveille is a great house with comfortable amenities and is convenient to the State Park.

As a Florida native, I can say that this is the place if you want to see the real Florida and experience our unique North Florida culture. Beautiful shoreline for miles, with nearby bays and canals. Great fishing, secluded beaches, friendly people, and no traffic. If your goal is to unwind and decompress, then stay here. We enjoyed every second of it. The house’s private boardwalk makes for easy beach access 24/7, and you don’t have to share it with anyone of course! The house was also very clean and our bed was extremely comfortable. Hope to be back soon.- Posted: 1/19/2022
Overall we were pleased with the property and it worked well for our family of four. It appeared to be more run down than it was when we rented the same property in 2019. With a little bit of sprucing up and basic maintenance, this property would be a wonderful place to stay.

Overall we had a good stay at this property. The outside is a little beach-worn, but the inside was fine. It wasn't some super immaculate place, but it was clean and well furnished. Furniture was a little older and definitely well used. The balconies had chairs that were torn, ripped and dirty. The kitchen was well furnished, it had pretty much everything you could need to cook (although the knives were very dull and hard to cut with). The rooms were nice, each with its own bathroom. The top floor Master bed is very comfy. The kitchen and bathrooms look like they may have been updated not too long ago so that was nice. The pictures on the site should be updated, there are a lot more homes in front/around the house. Be prepared to bring wagons to lug all of your stuff to the beach. While it was close, it's not right on the beach and it was still a trek with all of our beach gear. The area was nice, not too many people, a plus during a pandemic! Our biggest complaint and one that I think everyone needs to be AWARE of is the water in the home, or lack there of. In the afternoons, there is very little water pressure--it literally trickles out. One day there was no water coming out of any faucet or shower all together. I sent in a maintenance request two days into the trip and never heard from the property manager. On the day when we had no water at all. I was literally in the middle of a shower with shampoo in my hair and the water went out. I called the emergency numbers provided, for probably an hour and a half, before I finally got in touch with someone. But it was no help, all she said was that with everyone coming off the beach at the same time and using the showers at the same time in the area that we would have lower water pressure during that time (between 4-7ish pm). I complained that it wasn't just low water pressure--it was NO water at all and she said there was nothing that could be done until the next day. We couldn't cook or finish our showers until later that night when the water finally came back. I never got a call back the next day or anything. When you come off the beach at the end of the day and all you want to do is take a nice good shower to wash the sand off of you and relax and you can't--especially after spending all that money to stay somewhere that you expect to have running water---I was pretty upset to say the least. I should have a least been warned that this happens. So hopefully this can warn the next guest.

Water pressure issues have recently become an issue on Cape San Blas especially during the busiest times of the year. Recently the private water utility was purchased by the County with the expectations that improvements would be made for all. So far there have been no issues but until we get to the summer we won't know for sure if things are heading in the right direction.

Enjoyed the property and the location. Would like to book again next year but from what we’ve seen the rates are going way up next year and with the issues we had with the AC we are concerned about booking here again.

We have had the AC checked and everything is operating properly.

The house was clean and nicely furnished. The beach access was good, the swing at the end of the road was great. We took advantage of the swing to watch the sunset nightly.

It could be a much better property if maintained and stocked better. It was very convenient to the beach and reasonably priced but for the price I expect better maintenance and cleanliness.

We had a wonderful time in Reveille, very short walk to the beach and the house was just as described. Needs outdoor chairs replaced as 2 were broken.- Posted: 6/8/2019
Fabulous vacation. Beautiful home...was exactly how it was described. Short walk to the beach! Beautiful beach. Very relaxing—highly recommend—would do it again!- Posted: 6/22/2019
Just as described, great walk to the beach, not crowded for a public access. Open concept very roomy for our family of 6. Minor issue is lack of deck furniture, couple of chairs broken, no tables. suggestion:Coffee maker was drip, which I prefer but I packed pods because description said Keurig. kitchen very nicely stocked. I did bring sharp knives for prep- Posted: 7/13/2019
