Great place to stay at the Cape. Easy walk to beach. House nicely furnished. Terrific covered deck and nice facilities for washing off sand. Convenient to the local trading post/grocery and some of restaurants within walking distance. Very convenient location. Beautiful beach. Nice open area where everyone can eat or watch tv.
Definitely recommend and likely to rent again. Lock with keyboard didn’t work when we arrived after hours, but after hours service was able to quickly get us in and host got us keys the next morning. So, had very impact on our stay.
Beautiful place to stay. Hope to be a guest again.

Great place and a short walk to the beach. Very clean and nice house to visit for a long weekend. We loved the porch area too. We will be back!

This rental is similar in location to where we always stay- not right on the beach but close enough. It has everything we want- a well-equipped kitchen, good sheets and towels, and a nice deck. Highly recommended!

The house is wonderful and a perfect place for a family. Very short walk to the beach, great deck for eating or hanging out, clean comfortable rooms, and all of the amenities a family needs. We also love how close it is to the Trading Post for groceries, donuts, ice cream, etc… would highly recommend this place!

Although the beach has eroded away in front of this property, it still is a wonderful place to stay. We saw all types of animal life in the water because it is so close to the front of the home. We had plenty of beach to the side to use, and we love the home. We would definitely stay again.

Overall, it was a really nice place and we had a wonderful time. I was very worried about not having beach access in front of the complex (we never had any), but we were able to go to the left and down the stairs and had plenty of beach space to the side of the building. Being right over the water was a peculiar and cool feeling actually. I wish this property had a swing like a couple other properties did -- my husband and I sat on the "veranda" we called it which was nice to be out of the sun, but still enjoying the water and wind. Our pup had an absolute blast too. Love the beach gear rental option -- that was awesome. Neighbors super nice. Now -- for a dog friendly beach/area, we quickly learned how to spot the pokey plant that covered our dog's feet and legs with sticker burs that hurt like heck to pull out. One day we saw maybe 50+ dolphins frolic (mating?) from left to right in our view for over an hour -- it was like being at Sea World -- they jumping out of the water, etc. We saw a manatee right at the bottom of the sea wall. Saw a shark swim by close to the sea wall. Saw sea turtles. Collected some pretty little shells. We really had a great time!!

Yes, the entire Cape is constantly fighting beach erosion as the sand migrates towards the State Park; some places faster than others.  While periodic beach renourishment efforts have helped there is a plan in place that is targeted for 2023 to install some breakwaters to hopefully begin to slow the erosion.  Only time will tell.

The property is stunning and warm and gave access to some of the most incredible Gulf views. We noticed the chair in the living room looked like it was fragile so we instructed everyone to stay away and not sit there. Lots of pillows were nice to sit on or put against your back. The kitchen is gorgeous and the bedrooms were perfect!

 This property is in a great location. The property is “in” the water which makes it a unique experience. There are stairs that lead to the beach on each side of the building. Unit is well decorated and is comfortable. Small grocery store nearby for necessities if you need them.

This was a perfect example where pictures accurately described the rental, however upon arrival we were completely blown away by the owner’s deeply well thought out expertly use of professional interior design. I cannot improve upon what the owner has done and I am in the home improvement industry. Then the candles and lighting added more to the experience. Books even more. Then the details in the kitchen which add to the experience. The neighbor across the street was hospitable, warm and friendly and offered tips on where to eat breakfast. Weber’s Donuts. Buy them and enjoy!!!
Whoever the owners are have really cared for and loved this place. You are lucky to spend your vacation here. Enjoy.

We wanted to "escape" and just relax away from home. In the midst of the pandemic this was a perfect choice. The location of Salt Cured was ideal. Just a short walk to the beach access and a short walk (2 blocks) to the Trading Post and St. Joe's Shrimp Company. I loved that. The house was very clean, nicely furnished, and well stocked in the kitchen. We loved sitting out on the deck for our meals. Wifi and tv access were great as well.

This property was perfect for our family. We had a blast the beach is a very short walk with having 2 kids. We had a blast!! So clean and everything we needed!!

The house was decorated so cute and had everything we needed. It's so close to the beach and has great views. With carrying the beach stuff down or needing to go back up to the house for something, it was not a far walk at all. We loved the covered porch and enjoyed sitting/eating out there. This house was perfect for two couples and our pups. We would definitely come back!
