We would love to rent this property again if we can afford to.- Posted: 10/16/2022

Great house. We have rented homes on cape San blas for many years. This was the best ever!- Posted: 7/31/2022
It is sad that this nicely located house with a family friendly layout has been so neglected. If I were the owners, I would be ashamed to charges guests for a house that had not been updated in years.- Posted: 7/10/2022
Very nice stay once again for our whole family .. the new bunk beds were awesome along with having 2 oudoor grills . The sunset views can not be any prettier from this location ! Our only recommendation would be to repair the broken teal green rocker and one chair on the main living deck level and also the broken Adirondack chair at pool .. held together with just a pin closure. Just for guest safety and allowing seating at pool area.. The kitchen has smore making forks which was really great too along with 3 coffee pots which we used daily since the grandparents preferred stronger coffee than the rest of us .. thank you for another wonderful family vacation !

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The house could use some updating and maintenance.

There are some minor items to address. Needs a deep clean and doors need adjustment so they will close. Elevator was a PLUS!

beach location is great but we were quite disappointed with the house, it is in bad need of updating and quality improvement, its like paying for the Ritz and getting a Motel 6, everything just felt really cheap: shower heads, mattresses, linens, pots/pans, utensils, its like the cheapest quality you could buy at Walmart, just doesn't match the high season price we payed, we would go back to the Cape, just not this property

Getting our children and grandchildren together each year for vacation is what keeps me and my husband young. As our family continues to grow, Villa Del Sol is the perfect vacation home for us. Right on the beach and our private pool, we never have to leave the house. We are already booked for 2019.- Posted: 6/24/2018
This is the third summer that we have stayed at Villa Del Sol. I reviewed this property previously in 2016. I have been coming to Cape San Blas for more than 20 years at least 2-3 times per year staying at many different properties depending on our overall needs and number of people coming. I rent exclusively from Pristine Properties because they provide excellent service. Suzanne in the front office is always available to help with any questions I might have. We had minor problems this visit (problems with the WiFi and upstairs toilet) and Royce from maintenance was there in less than 30 minutes to fix both issues. Villa del sol is a lovely well-maintained spacious Beachfront property with 3 floors and a pool level. 5 bedrooms each with private bath. Well equipped kitchen. Elevator great for transporting groceries and luggage. Great for large extended families or multiple couples. Lots of room to spread out. Peaceful, quiet beach. Would stay here again next year, but property already rented out for the week we want. Therefore, Suzanne has already found us a similar property for that week.- Posted: 7/22/2018
We stayed one week and enjoyed it very much. The house was great. the beach was very pretty. we Are planning to go back to the same place next year. What a wonderful time- Posted: 6/7/2019
As an extended family of 14, we rented Villa del Sol for the entire month of February. The best part of this house is that you can see both the sunrise over the bay and the sunset over the gulf. We had 5 small children under the age of 4. Even though the weather can be a bit dicey in February, we were able to get out on the beach most of the days via a brand new boardwalk that was completed within days of our arrival. The children did share rooms with their parents but because the bedrooms had large walk in closets, they were able to set up their pack n plays in the closets. With the aid of a sound machine, the adults were able to talk and/or watch tv without disturbing the little ones. The property does include an elevator which makes carrying in groceries and luggage a breeze. Also, to our surprise, we found a pack n play and booster seat in the bunk bed bedroom closet. This was a bonus as it was not listed on the amenities list. The kitchen is fairly well equipped with all the basic items including a toaster, blender, coffeemaker, and various pots and pans and utensils. We did bring along our own very large pot for a low country boil and a very large frying pan for breakfasts for 14 people. The only downside of the kitchen is there is no designated pantry but we were able to rearrange some things that allowed us two upper cabinets to store our personal items in. Initially, during the first few days of our visit we did encounter some maintenance issues. Pristine Properties reacted in a very timely manner to all our requests including needing a new washing machine which they replaced within 24 hours. Pristine Properties were a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.from Marietta/GA/30060 - Posted: 3/1/2020
